Jake Mackenzie to release “Devil Of Arkansas” July 8th

June 24, 2025 — Country singer-songwriter Jake Mackenzie has stirred up buzz after leaking his own new single“Devil of Arkansas”, ahead of its official release on July 8, 2025 via Glenstone Records.

Originally teased on Instagram, Mackenzie surprised fans by sharing an early listen to the track, offering a raw glimpse of what’s shaping up to be his boldest work yet. The leak, posted directly by the artist himself, features Southern Gothic themes, gritty storytelling, and a haunting sound that departs from traditional country tropes.

The hand-drawn cover art — a lone motorcycle resting in tall grass — fits the moody tone of the song, which some fans are already calling Mackenzie’s breakout moment. Rather than wait for the typical rollout, Mackenzie chose to leak the track as a way to directly connect with fans and build underground anticipation.

Despite the early drop, Devil of Arkansas will still get its full official release across Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services on July 8.
